Well I didn't log my symptoms this week because I have been battling a nasty flu bug that turned into bronchitis. By day 8 it had not improved at all so I went into the ER and they set me up with antibiotics. While I am not normally a fan of antibiotics, I knew something wasn't quite right after 8 days with no sign of improvement. Symptoms Log - Jan 1 -7 (post explant)
Jan 1 - a bit swollen in face this am and congested but it disappeared quickly after waking. Eyes watering a bit on and off throughout the day, but not tears. Throat felt a bit phlegmy after dinner and harder to swallow, but otherwise good most of the day. Had a bout of nausea after dinner for about 30 minutes and then it was gone. Felt energetic. Symptoms Log Dec 25- 31(post explant)
Dec 25 - had a 4 hour nap. runny eyes, runny nose. Minor congestion in sinuses. Reduced facial inflammation. Easier time swallowing (noticeable). Sat on ground and wasn’t stiff and achy trying to get up or walk around. Get tired easily but I’m not fatigued with this blanket of endless fatigue. Itchy ears. Felt pretty energetic and had my bubbly happy personality back for the first time in a while! I really enjoyed watching my kids unwrap presents and then playing with them .
