Unfortunately I didn't start regular photo documentation until November, however I did have enough photos taken earlier in the year to add as comparisons. What I've really noticed in October and November is the change in my facial inflammation and eyes. This isn't photoshopped or an attempt to make myself look worse, this is literally every day now. I feel how I look these days. I've documented this because I want to see if explant really does change my appearance. On another note I really feel that since September things have been going down hill quickly. In all honest the pictures below seem to show just that too.
My symptoms list is now over 50 since the beginning of the year.
I wake up, face is really swollen. Hands and feet are swollen. I have trouble swallowing for about the first 30 minutes after waking up. I can only describe this as being similar to when someone has a really mucus like flu/cold where there is thick phlegm in their throat that makes it hard to swallow and feels like there is something there. The only difference is I don’t have phlegm but the sensation is there. After about 30 minutes of being up it disappears. This happens every morning and has been for over a year now.
Hands are always cold or swollen and hot.
I’ve been very itchy lately
Mild headache. Very phlegmy this morning, hard to swallow like lumps in my throat. Had the typical nose running (pouring), eyes watering and sneezing for...
Woke up felt like a ball in my throat. Hard to swallow. Swollen face and sinuses.
5 minutes after waking, nose stuffs up and begins running profusely like allergies or cold, stops within an hour and good for rest of the day. Happens every morning.
Very itchy hands and ankles.
Worked out and hands, face, and legs/feet swelled (35 min cardio)
Losing train of thought
Irritable and sensitive to sounds today, feel like my head is circling all the noise is overwhelming me from the dryer, to the water in the sink, to the kids car sounds and the radio on in the ground and my husbandassking me a question.
Really hard to swallow this morning, literally feels like I have something stuck in my throat. My nose starts running within a few minutes of getting up, as if I have a cold but yet I don’t. Then my e...
My muscles were sore and achy today. Really phlegmy in the morning. Swollen face. Super tired by noon again, felt like I needed a nap, but my youngest wasn’t tired so I just laid on the couch watching him.
Struggled with thoughts today. I went to my fridge 4x and couldnt’ remember each time why I went there or what I was looking for. This part is frustrating because I KNOW this isn’t normal for me.I feel like I’m losing my mind, literally.
My knee joints are particularly sore today, but I haven’t done much except shovel snow. It’s a sharp stabbing pain if I move.
Fatigue, swollen face, runny eyes, phlegmy throat at wake up.
A thought in passing, it was funny I did a hot yoga class a few weeks ago and for the first time when I looked in the mirror and saw my boobs hanging out, I had to pull m...
This morning I got my MRI results from my doctor. I wasn’t able to see the pictures myself, which was disappointing, but based on the radiologist and my doctors interpretation of those images, everything looked fine.
I’ll admit it is a small relief as I would be much more anxious with an obvious compromise in my implants, particularly if it was extra capsular rupture. However I know that up to 35% of ruptures are silent, with no obvious outward signs (contracture, physical appearance changes) and MRI's do miss ruptures as well, so it’s still possible they could be ruptured. I won’t know until my surgery for certain!
My doctor once again cautioned me about jumping to surgery. I took the time to explain to her that I have been investigating this option since March. I have read through hundreds of pages f...
I still have a few nerves. I want this done right because I don’t want to have to schedule another surgery to remove the capsule properly down the road, as many women have had to deal with before. So I contacted 5 women who used the surgeon I’m explanting with. All 5 had very positive things to say about their experience, the aesthetics they were left with and how much better they are feeling since having explanted.
I also verified that the surgeon is board certified today, you can easily verify by looking at the associations.
